Visit an exhibition and be inspired by other designers and visual pioneers.

Two passions of mine collided on a visit to the Design Museum in London
Designing the Beautiful Game was an exhibition that charts the creative story of football from its humble beginnings to the global phenomenon it is today.
Football and design are not two things you would necessarily put together, but once inside, it soon becomes clear that every aspect of the game has been looked at from a design perspective. From the earliest examples of footballs, the evolution of the football boot, and shirt design to fanzines, banners and stadium mock ups - this really is a comprehensive visual history of the game.
Highlights for me were Brian Robson’s 1982 England shirt, which I still think is my favourite design, the poignant banner created by Liverpool fans to mark the Hillsborough tragedy, the world cup poster gallery and the chance to create my own football kit out of paper.
